With the aim of creating a cohesive online identity, British purveyors of fine audio technology Bowers & Wilkins approached great fridays with the task of implementing an initiative that would form a more rounded image of the Bowers & Wilkins brand online.
Bowers & Wilkins, eager to have an online presence that demonstrated the same level of craftsmanship and effortless style that goes into their sound system construction, put great fridays to work on a number of initiatives, part of which was a redesign of their main ecommerce website.
In order to establish a unified structure across a broad digital platform, great fridays undertook a discovery stage during which we examined the brand in depth. This allowed us to profile potential clientele and map a user experience design. We gauged competitor analysis, indentified a number of issues, and addressed these elements accordingly.
Using In Design, Flash and Photoshop we were able to successfully build a sleek site for B&W, composed of the same design elements that come to form part of their visual language.
Visitors to the B&W site can now easily view products in a smooth, seamless and swift fashion. Site navigation has also been improved, with a clear set of drop-down menu options allowing users to easily move around the site.
