The MTV European Music Awards are a real highlight of the music scene calendar. Always looking for more ways to to give power to the masses, MTV wanted the 2007 EMA site to allow viewers to nominate acts for each category and decide on the winners for 80% of the awards. With six weeks between the brief and the site going live, we gave MTV the gritty, 3D rich site they wanted to support the awards. The concept married sport and music in a homage to the Olmypiadhalle venue and opened voting to 21 countries in their native languages.
